Born and raised on her family's farm in North Carolina.  Cheryl has been well rounded with her career paths, from managing a law firm to a few golf courses.  She has always found herself behind a computer and managing business operations, this was a problem for her.  Painting, photography, and her children somewhat fulfilled Cheryl's inventive spirit for a few years, that is until she held her first pair of shears.  At that moment she was flooded with the excitment of being able to express her creative side with others.  She decided to take a few steps backward and leave her desk job behind forever to follow her lifelong dream of being an artist. 

Cheryl joined our team as an apprentice in February 2011.  With rare young artistry and skill she has since proved to be a new star on our team. Her relentless desire to master Raphael's precision-based cutting methods has gained her a well deserved, and very early, advancement to a Level One Stylist, while stil in the apprenticeship program.  Her passion is obvious in the quality of her work and her desire to balance artistry and functionality.  Cheryl will listen to you and use her skills, gained from her ongoing education, and talent to ensure that every client that sits in her chair gets a personalized look.

Exceptionally versatile, she can move effortlessly between pretty girl hair to a rock and roll attitude.  When givin the opportunity she loves to push the artistic envelope with vibrant and imaginative work. Just this year she has produced some mind blowing editorial work,  been a contender in various competitions, assisted Raphael in El Paseo's Fashion Week and she played a major roll in "The Modern Rage Tour 2011". 

Her ultimate dream is be a celeberty hair designer and platform artist.   Due to her feirce commitment she has already claimed her first celeberty client and her credits are piling up quickly.  Cheryl's Charming and bubbly personality makes her a favorite with clients and colleagues alike.
